Pick out a spot on the ceiling and stare at that spot without moving a muscle or saying a word. I want you to take a deep breath, fill up your lungs. Hold to a count of six.

Exhale slowly. Let go now. Now take another deep breath. Fill up your lungs. Exhale slowly. Let go now. And now a third deep breath. Fill up your lungs. Hold it. Exhale slowly.

Let go now. Now let your eyelids close down as every nerve and muscle and limp and relaxed. Picture in your mind now if you will your meadow, your perfect body image moving through that meadow over to your tree and settle into your cloud-like lounge chair. Push your transport button, move gently to the top of the mountain. You're to the top of the mountain now. The meadow, the trees, all of the universe seems to spread before your eyes. You're so comfortable and totally relaxed, sinking into this deep, wonderful, beautiful cloud-like chair. Push your transport button again and move out into the air, into the clouds, we're going to start our descent to the meadow below.

I'm going to count from 8 down to 0, and as I do, we're going to drift slowly down. And with each number I count, you'll go deeper into total relaxation. right ready now, transport out into the air, we're ready to move down eight, drifting slowly, gently, easily down seven, moving down, down You go deeper into relaxation with each easy breath that you take, with each sound that you hear. You go deeper and deeper. Six, moving on down now. Every nerve and muscle is growing loose and limp. And you're so relaxed.

Calm. Lazy and drowsy. Five, you've drifted almost halfway down now. When I reach one, we'll be at the bottom of the mountain, and when I say zero and gently state of hypnotic trance. Four, moving on down now. Every nerve and muscle lets go. Every care and worry is gone. Three, we're almost down now. The sounds of the metal get a little louder.

You hear them more easily as we get nearer the bottom and you go deeper and deeper into relaxation. Two, deeper, deeper, into lazy relaxation. One. We're to the bottom now, settling into the meadow grass. And you sink deeper and deeper into drowsy, lazy relaxation. Zero. Gently sleep. And now just drift on over into total profound relaxation. Just breathe easily and with each breath that you take, you go deeper and deeper into drowsy slumber. Now in a moment I'm going to tell you to open your eyes.

Don't open them yet. But when I do, I don't want you to try to focus on anything, but just allow your eyelids to open. Then I'll tell you to close them down. Each time that we do this, you'll double your relaxation and a wave of relaxation will pass through your body, and each time you'll double the level of your relaxation. All right? Open your eyes, feel the wave of relaxation, close them. Open your eyes, close them. Open them, close them. Open them, close them.

Open them, close them. And now just sink deeper and deeper. as a wave of relaxation just washes over your body and all your cares are gone every sound, every breath you go deeper and deeper into hypnotic sleep Now see in your mind a TV screen. The numbers are coming from the left of your screen, starting with 100, see them moving downward. With each number you see, once again you double your relaxation level. And as the numbers pass, as you count backwards, they begin to fade quickly away. And by the time you reach the number 95, all the numbers will have disappeared from the screen.

But with each number, your relaxation level will deepen, deeper and deeper all right let's begin counting the numbers 100 double your relaxation 99 fading and fading away in the distance 98 getting more and more faint fading and fading in the distance 97 so relaxed, deeper and deeper is the number fades and fades away. There goes 96 into the distance, fades and fades. 95, and the numbers fade and go. The screen is blank now. You're so relaxed, so relaxed.

Gently sleep and go deeper and deeper into that wonderful feeling of total, total rest. You are still now, completely quiet and still. Now you're in deep hypnotic trance where you're in touch with your center of creative intelligence which always knows what to do and how to do it in any circumstance. And now as you go even deeper in hypnotic sleep, you easily call to memory at this very experiences the feelings you experienced with your eat feelings now recall those eat feelings remember what they were, what they are, where you feel them how your body feels Experience that feeling.

I'm going to give you a few moments to really look at each of those incidents that you experienced when we went back into your past. Begin with the most recent scene where you felt mystique. felt you missed eat. And we'll go to the next most recent scene. Look at them. You've seen them now, both while in hypnosis and in your alert state. Now let's go all the way back to your third birthday. Bring up that scene.

Now let's go to your first day of school. Now your 16th birthday. And now on up to your 21st birthday. All right. Now let's look at the very first time you knew you had an eating problem. You've seen that moment now. We're looking at all of these incidents now as if through that telescope. You can pull them up rapidly and you can see them in a flash of a moment. Look at that first time when you knew you could not control the need to eat. A reason other than hunger when you knew you just had to go and get something to eat. Look closely at that moment. See yourself now at the very first moment you faced the fact that you had a weight problem.

Feel that moment. Experience it. Look at what was going on around you. Look at how it affected you. Bring all those scenes back through your mind now. Things are becoming evident to you as they're beginning to merge into similar experiences. There were similar happenings in each of those scenes. Recall these feelings.

What is happening? Or did something maybe already happen to you in each of these scenes? Look and see if there's someone other than yourself that's either in your scene or maybe just relates to you in some way that causes you to have this awful uncontrolled urge to eat that makes you feel that eat feeling in your body that you need to satisfy that feeling. Is there someone related to that other than yourself?

Look at your feelings now. Connect the scenes with other emotions. Don't hide anything from yourself. Answer the questions. Look at the scenes. Answer the questions. How do you feel? Who is there? Don't lie to yourself. Answer truthfully.

Are you trying to punish someone? Are you trying to punish yourself? Look at it honestly. Are you frightened of something? Are you feeling trapped or as if you have no control over your life situation, the things occurring in your life, that perhaps you feel that you're of no value. How do you feel about yourself? Face it. Be honest.

Now there was a time when you were not overweight. And there was a time when you had no food problems. Then something happened. And you developed an eating problem. What happened? What happened? Look at it, see what happened. Perhaps there are several incidents, or maybe several people, who cause you to have these feelings.

Who are they? Face it, who are they? You know what happened, and you know who's involved. See it, look at it. Don't hide from it, face it right now. It's been reasonable for you to react as you have in the past. Those were real problems. Those problems caused you to eat as you have been eating. And now you begin to see what those problems are and it's no longer reasonable that you continue to abuse yourself in such a way as you are now doing.

You're a perfect creation. God created you and you must love yourself. Accept yourself as you are. We can face the problem and we can take care of the problem and you can change. You love yourself and you want to have control over your actions and you're going to control your actions. You want to be in good health and you want to be attractive and you want to have a perfect body. Only you need to love yourself and respect yourself. It does not matter what anybody else thinks.

You love yourself and you make your body what you want it to be because you are only punishing yourself. Look at it. Who do you hurt by overeating and ruining the shape of your body? Only you. Other people may be using that, but it is you who gets hurt. And you need to stop it. You don't deserve it.

You look at those things that happen. You look at those feelings and those incidents and how they affected you. It was reasonable then because you didn't know better. Now you know better and you do not have to any longer punish yourself or try to get even with anybody else because when you do, you're only hurting yourself. Forgive those people who've influenced you. Forgive them and put them behind you.

Send them love and understanding and forgiveness. They also didn't realize what they were doing. and it's you who's going to control your life from now on. From this moment on, you begin to gain control. You see what the problem is and you see what caused the problem. You couldn't help responding as you have in the past. It isn't your fault, but now you can change. You can see. You can see that no matter who you thought you were punishing, it was always you who has gotten hurt.

You don't deserve that. You're a wonderful person, and you know you're worthwhile and deserve good things. And now that you know what the problem is, you look at it for exactly what it is, a problem which has a solution. You have the solution. And you know that solution. You see how those things in the past, those problems have affected you and you now stop allowing them to relate to you in this manner in any way at all.

It's all so simple now that you really see it as it is. You know that from this moment forward you have total control over your eating habits. From this moment forward you need only eat for the purpose of nourishing your body. And you enjoy what you eat more than ever before. But small portions of good nutritious foods will completely satisfy you as your body moves toward that perfect image that you have created now in your mind.

You only have an appetite for good foods and you eat only when your body needs fuel in order to function efficiently. and everything you eat only moves to energy and to cause you to move toward your goal. It causes you to burn up the excess stored fat in your body and it melts it and it washes it away from your body. You're developing activities which make you feel fulfilled. You feel good about yourself. All the positive solutions are there for you to use right now. It's easy for you to follow all the guidelines for this program. You've isolated the problem, you see what the solutions are, and you're acting on those solutions beginning this moment.

You see yourself exactly as you want to be. That goal image is constantly before you. You are that image Your body is reshaping at this very moment at this very moment the excess fat is melting away and being flushed from your body Steadily and constantly moving you towards your goal image You are right now becoming what you want to be If at any time you feel this old urge to eat incorrectly You'll take a deep breath, hold it, and you'll say to yourself, eating problem. Exhale, the problem image will flash before your mind and the urge will vanish because you'll see the problem for exactly what it is as it related to you in the past and you no longer need it.

Also, when your appetite seems to desire more than is reasonable, take a deep breath, hold it, say to yourself, satisfied, exhale and you immediately feel totally content and satisfied. And you'll do this anytime you're out of control. Now you can gain total control over yourself in every way. You are on your way. You are filled with enthusiasm and you feel wonderful. You know your problem, you know the solution. And now I'm going to count from one up to five and you will be fully alert, you will recall everything that happened in the session, you will be able to relate to every old problem, know your solution and move toward your goal with positive forceful steps.

You are through with your past problems. One, slowly, easily, calmly moving to your full awareness once again. Two, every muscle and nerve in your body is completely relaxed, totally relaxed. You feel wonderful. Three, from head to toe you're perfect in every way. You feel mentally perfect and physically perfect. You're invigorated and full of energy. Four, your eyes feel sparkling clear. And on the next number I call your eyes will be open and you'll be fully alert. Five, eyes open, fully alert, take a deep breath, fill up your lungs and stretch. You can move on with the program's tapes. You can use these tapes any time you can. Go back and look for any new insights that might come to you and face them. Creative intelligence will supply a solution to every problem you uncover.

Face the problem, hear the solution, and activate the solution. Move on with this program with renewed energy and vigor. Your body is becoming vigorous and beautiful. Just relax and enjoy the rest of this program because you are moving toward and you will become that mental image of yourself, that perfect you as you will be. Check your gauges and your switches and make sure they're all properly set and then let's move onward. You'll want to use these tapes often. Go back through the regression tape frequently. That's the tape on the other side of this one.

And look carefully. See if you can find other incidents in the past that related to this. Go back to a different time, maybe each time you used the tape. And always pull those incidents together until they form some sort of a similar element that you can look at carefully in the alert state also. You need to study these things both in a state of hypnosis and in your conscious alert state. The images will form and then as you study the images and as they relate to you the solutions become obvious.

You see how those incidents affected you then and you can see why they continue to affect you now. But you can also see why they must stop affecting you now. They were suitable for that period in your life. You reacted suitably because you didn't know any better. Now you know better. You know all you have to do is get in touch with your creative intelligence and your subconscious mind will tell you what to do. It will only send positive images and positive urges into your conscious life. We are reprogramming your entire subconscious mind as relates food intake and your body size and shape.

And you are reducing the size and weight of your body. The fat cells are melting away and food that you take into your body only goes to create energy and maintain your ideal image. You no longer store fat cells in excess of what you need to have a slim, beautiful, trim, well muscle toned body. You are moving rapidly now because you know the solution and we are going to reprogram this mind and you will move rapidly to reach that beautiful goal.
